Appearance/Body Aspects/Etc.
So Luke, being a book character, never gets an exaaact description but let me tell you this: nearly everything that does get described about him leads me to believe that Caleb Landry Jones, my PB, is a nigh uncanny match. So for ease of RP, the following is all the stuff I can remember to describe. Plus pictures.
Appearance/Body Type
- Luke is 5'11"
- He's on the slim side, but he's not exactly skinny. Here is a picture of CLJ in a fitted suit to illustrate this:
- Something I can't find the right picture to illustrate is that despite being thin, and having stick legs, he has a decent amount of corded muscle in his arms. It's not particularly evident unless he's sleeveless. Which Luke is rarely. He likes plaid shirts.
- He has a sliightly girly curve to his hips, to be completely honest. The following picture will illustrate that and one other thing:
- I've waffled over it for a while, but this is probably the usual length of his hair. It's how he is in the illustrations. He might occasionally lean into even shaggier behind his ears, and AT MOST it would grow to the length of my default icon (he is from the 70s, after all) So despite all of my icons of older CLJ with his long, flowing mane, this is what you should. Attempt. To picture.
- Luke is super freckly. Like. SUUUUPER freckly. Picture time.
- Something I have difficulty finding a picture of which isn't in insane shadow, is his chest. Luke is pretty much hairless, and the hair there is is wispy and fine because he's red haired. He does, however, have visible eyelashes, unlike many gingers.
- And this following one will be the last picture, and not even one of CLJ, because the one thing that isn't accurate about CLJ for Luke is his eyes. Luke's eyes are a reddish brown, which I have found exactly what I visualise in Elly Jackson (La Roux).
- While Elly looks upon me disapprovingly, I will add for the benefit of sex rp that he has a sort of average-sized dick when he's not doing stuff to it through shapeshifting. Average girth. And probably in the realm of six inches.
- He's really small for a frost giant.
Body Language
- Luke is expressive in his movements. He's a bit of a hand talker on occasion.
- His gait is enthusiastic and confident.
- His default facial expression is open, nearly smiling.
Voice
- The person to set him free was a posh, British Public School boy, so Luke's English-speaking accent is Received Pronunciation, with a slightly less posh edge to it.
- His voice is medium low.
Other Stuff
- Luke constantly smells a bit fiery. How strong is completely random, as is the way in which he's fiery: he might be smokey, or like overdone toast, or like a fall bonfire.
- Luke is warmer than a human to the touch, nearly always. He can tone it down if it's mentioned to him, but naturally, he's hot enough to feel feverish.
