I've never heard a recorder version before. It's terribly inventive. [One of the pipers gets all excitedly up in his face, rocking out, so Luke kind of wails back at him:] Try to set the night on....fiiiiiirrrrrrrrre!

Hello Luke, it's Charles.

There's a dinner tonight, rather impromptu, but there will be at the very least there will be eight mutants of various powers, the majority of which I actually know and two that I don't but that should be quite all right.

Please come along? There is going to be quite a bit of food but I'm uncertain any of it will last beyond tomorrow morning. Bring David, naturally. And the lovely Miss Allard, if she can be convinced. I would love Erik to meet her.

It's to be at Erik's so I suspect 'crowded' is not a strong enough word, but I doubt you'll mind.

[David comes in from walking Chew, an excited look on his face.]

Luke, are you in? I've got good news!

[Luke is in the middle of weaving a sort of fiery, floating net just to see if he can, lying backwards over the bed, but he snuffs it out and hurries into the main room instead.]

What sort? [He inhales, frowns slightly, half smiles.] You've started wearing cologne?

What? No. [He's a little sniffly from having just come inside, so he can't smell a thing.] I've found a job! Charlie's going to hire me to work at her tea shop.

Oh, brilliant. As a waiter? A cashier? Are you sure you're not wearing anything? [He walks closer and sniffs again.] Have you been eating fruit?

[Then he sniffs himself, finally picking up the hint of,] Is that peach? I smell like peach.
